We aim to cater for all tastes and we have a great range of toys available on this site with fully secure on-line shopping. We devote a lot of our time sourcing our toys, ensuring both quality and variety, with an emphasis on safety, with all our toys carrying the CE standard as minimum, and a non toxic, paint finish, a must. We love the toys from Lanka Kade and they have always proved popular. They are a fair trade supplier who work with companies in Sri Lanka to produce the toys at a fair price for the workers. The designs are simply wonderful and they toys are handmade and hand-painted. Ideal for decorating a child's bedroom their range include bookends, clocks and mobiles. Also their chunky wooden puzzles are great for little fingers and they include alphabet jigsaws and counting jigsaws.
Orange Tree Toys
A UK based company who specialise in wooden toys. They also produce mobiles, bookends and puzzles as well as a great range of wooden vehicles from trucks to trains. The biggest hit would have to be the wooden push alongs. The wooden beads make a clacking sound as the toy is pushed on its wheels - helps to develop walking.
Plan Toys
Based in Thailand Plan Toys produce high quality wooden toys including the Plan City range. Their toys are made of “preservative-free” rubber woods, including removing all sharp corners and edges for children’s greater safety. Painting the wooden toys with safe, non-toxic and child friendly colours in line with international standards, they are committed to protecting children. We think the large wooden fire engine is the best that is out there.
Manhattan Toy
From the USA we have the award winning Manhattan Toy who supply mainly soft toys for babies and toddlers. Not just soft toys each toys has been designed with an idea to teach children as they play. These are top quality toys and include the delightful Whoozit range, the Rumblies soft vehicles and the Peek Squeak range. We also offer the Baby Stella range of dolls.
Heimess
Based in Germany, Heimess manufacture wooden toys for babies. They use high quality wood materials such as beech or maple and produce a wonderful range of dummy chains, clip ons, pram chains, mobiles, rattles and teethers. The toys are completely safe and designed for babies to play with, chomp on and learn from.
Goki Toys
Also based in Germany, Goki produce wooden toys for pre-school and older children. These include puzzles, play sets and vehicles. We can recommend the viking ship. There is nothing else like it out there and comes fully equipped with its own vikings.
Automoblox
The Automoblox wooden cars are an unique toy. The cars are assembled by the child and parts from one set can be interchanged with another set. There is great satisfaction in building your toy car and then playing with it. These cars are constructed from European Birch wood and are made to last. The only limit is the child's imagination.
