Children's Toys

We are constantly adding to our range of traditional wooden toys for children. We source our wooden toys from the following suppliers: Lanka Kade, Orange Tree Toys, Heimess, Goki, I'M Toy and Plan Toys. Lanka Kade are a fair trade supplier, they ensure the manufacturers get a fair price for the products they make. They make bright, colourful toys. Particular favourites are the noahs ark, bookends, mobiles, clocks and the chunky jigsaw puzzles. Orange Tree Toys make a wide variety of wooden toys and soft toys. The wooden animal train is always a hit and the push alongs have proved to be very popular, with parents telling us they have been their child's favourite Christmas present.

From I'm Toy we currently stock the Dinozone range. I'm TOY is a leader in wooden toys in Germany & Holland since 1987. I'm TOY incorporates fine craftsmanship, colourful design and intrinsic learning values for children 3 months and above. The DinoZone range is a collection of wooden dinosaurs and their environments. Children can create their own prehistoric world and learn fascinating facts about dinosaurs by collecting different DinoZone figures and playsets.

Plan Toys manufacture very high quality wooden toys. At the moment we are stocking a range of their large wooden vehicles including the spectacular wooden fire engine - the best on the market. Plan Toys are made from natural, chemical free rubber wood and finished with non-toxic and child friendly colours. We have recently added the Plan City road and rail range which is a superb collection of buildings, vehicles, trains and people and is Brio compatible.

Heimess is a German based supplier of wooden toys for babies including dummy chains, pram chains, pram clip on toys, rattles and teethers. The rattling noises, colourful pieces and wonderful designs will help to stimulate your baby's senses.

Goki are also a German based manufacturer and their wonderful mobiles have been a big success since we introduced them. Not only that they also supply high quality traditional childrens wooden toys.

All toys should keep your child interested, stimulate their senses, help them to develop and above all be fun. We have a wide range of toys that tick all those boxes. As well as the Heimess toys mentioned above we also stock the Whoozit range of soft baby activity toys from Manhattan Toy. These are ideal toys for babies with bright colours and high-contrast patterns to offer visual stimulation. The toys are made of soft velour material babies love to hold. The range includes the Whoozit Water Mat which features floating foam pieces that move when baby touches the mat for cause-and-effect learning and encourages a baby to watch and touch while developing large-motor skills. These toys have proved very popular and we have now expanded our range even further. Look out for the soft pirate ship or the dress up pirate and princess. The Baby Stella Doll is a great first doll from Manhattan Toy. It is a very detailed doll with lifelike toes, belly button, and plump tummy and has soft fleece hair and embroidered features. There are lots of different accessories with the Baby Stella Doll including clothes, rucksack, sleep sack, changing set, bath set and more. For older children we have the Groovy Girls dolls. Part of this range are the RSVP dolls where the dolls have their own website. Each owner gets a secret access code where they can access the website and unlock a range of cool online activities, games, and party fun.

As well as the chunky wooden puzzles we sell we have now introduced a range of puzzles from Mudpuppy. These are uniquely designed jigsaw puzzles using well known children's illustrators, some based on famous books. The range covers first puzzles up to more complicated floor puzzles. There are different themes available including pirate, pricess, ballerina, jungle, dinosaurs and robots.

We have recently added this section to the website in order to include toys that will appeal to older children. From Mudpuppy we have the Magnetic Dress Up Dolls and the Play Scene Stickers. Each Magnetic Dress Up Doll comes with 4 backgrounds and 3 sheets of magnetic dolls and accessories. Your child can use their imagination to create different, wonderful scenes. Similarly the play scene stickers have over 50 beautifully designed re-usable stickers that can be applied to a large background scene. The only limits are the imagination.
